More Waiting...

My birth certificate arrived this week, so last night I sit down to fill out my passport application only to discover I need another official document... So the application for that document has been downloaded and filled in, need to pop to the JP on Monday to get something signed and post that application off and wait for document to arrive 7 - 10 days then I will be able to continue with my passport application... I am getting there slowly... It will be a great day when I finally have a Passport in my hands...

Travel Escapes

I have a very exciting day happening today...
This morning I am off to meet up with a friend Diana who runs Travel Escapes and show her what I have pieced together and let her weave her magic with booking and fine tuning things...
Oh and get a better idea of the $$$...

My birth certificate is at the Post Office waiting collection also, then I can look at my passport application...

Busy, Busy and even more Busy...

Time has flown by but that doesn't mean I've been idle, in fact the opposite...
Every time I walk past a travel agent I peer inside to see if they have a brochure I don't already have or seen online... Brochures are every where here, lots of them are plastered with post it notes with various markings so I know what is a must, would like and if we have time...
Today its taken me half the day to slot everything into place... What started out as a weeks holiday has turned into a 17 day Overseas Adventure, cause a day was added here and then a day added there just to fit things in... I do think I am at the stage I am happy with things with probably a tweak here and there to do... Hopefully next week I can meet up with Diana who will make it all happen and tell me a $$$ figure...
So excited...

Oh I also sent off for a new birth certificate so I can then get started on my passport...

When It All Began...

The seed for an adventure overseas was planted a few days ago...
All thanks to my Hubby David who suggested I do an overseas photography holiday for a week to any where I wanted to go...
Then me saying oh no I couldn't do that...
Well today I went to the Post Office and picked up my Passport application form and the ladies were very helpful indeed, mind you I still need to locate my birth certificate...
Tonight due to the fact that lots of my friends went on or are going on holidays this year many aren't planning anything for next year...
David says I should see if my daughter Melissa wants to go and he will pay for her flights if she picks up the tab for other things...
I am actually going to visit her tomorrow in Canberra so I will share my news with her and see what her thoughts are...

So are you wondering where in the world is calling me???

How about London, with a visit to Paris and maybe Dublin thrown into the mix...
So a weeks holidays is now probably more like 10 days...

So excited but lots of things need to fall into place for My Big Adventure Overseas to begin...
